Getting There

Walking

If you are starting from the Gettysburg Museum and Visitor Center located at 1195 Baltimore Pike, exit the center and head north on Baltimore Pike. Walk straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Taneytown Road. At this intersection, turn right onto Taneytown Road. Continue walking for another 0.2 miles, and you will see the entrance to Gettysburg National Cemetery on your left. The cemetery is well-marked and has a large sign at the entrance.
Public Transit (Bus)

From the Gettysburg Museum and Visitor Center, you can take the local bus service. Catch the bus at the stop right outside the museum. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next departure. The bus will take you along Baltimore Pike. Get off at the stop near the intersection with Taneytown Road. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to Gettysburg National Cemetery. Head west on Taneytown Road, and you will see the cemetery entrance on your left.
Biking

If you have access to a bike, start from the Gettysburg Museum and Visitor Center and head north on Baltimore Pike. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto Taneytown Road. The cemetery is approximately 0.2 miles down Taneytown Road on your left. There are bike racks available at the entrance of the cemetery for parking your bike.
