From Happy Valley, take I-99 S toward State College. Merge onto I-76 E (Pennsylvania Turnpike) toward Philadelphia. Continue on I-76 E for approximately 130 miles. Take exit 344 for I-676 E toward Central Philadelphia. Merge onto I-676 E and take exit 1B toward 6th St. Turn left onto N 6th St, then turn right onto N 7th St. The Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site will be on your right at 532 N 7th St, Philadelphia, PA 19123. From Happy Valley, start by taking a bus to Harrisburg. You can use the Greyhound or Megabus service. Once in Harrisburg, transfer to the Amtrak train service toward Philadelphia. Upon arrival at Philadelphia's 30th Street Station, take the SEPTA Market-Frankford Line (Blue Line) toward Frankford. Get off at 8th St station. Walk north on 8th St toward N 7th St, then turn left onto N 7th St. The Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site will be located at 532 N 7th St, Philadelphia, PA 19123.
