Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Walnut Spring Ln in State College. From Happy Valley, take PA-26 S for approximately 5 miles. As you approach State College, turn onto E College Ave/US-322 E. Continue on US-322 E for about 2 miles, then take the exit toward N Atherton St/PA-45. Merge onto N Atherton St and follow it for about 1 mile. Turn left onto Walnut Spring Ln, and you will arrive at Walnut Springs Park at 843 Walnut Spring Ln.

  For public transportation, the Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA) provides bus services around Happy Valley. Check the CATA website for routes that service the State College area. You can take the Route 1 or Route 2 bus from various points in Happy Valley towards State College. Get off at the stop closest to N Atherton St. From there, it's about a 20-minute walk to Walnut Springs Park. Head south on N Atherton St, then take a left onto Walnut Spring Ln, where you'll find the park at 843 Walnut Spring Ln.

  If you're looking to bike to Walnut Springs Park, it's a great option given the relatively short distance. Start by heading south on N Atherton St. This route will take you through some scenic areas of State College. Continue on N Atherton St until you reach Walnut Spring Ln, where you can turn left. The park will be on your left at 843 Walnut Spring Ln. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local cycling regulations!
