From central Hershey, head to the nearest bus stop located at the Hershey Park entrance. Take the Red Rose Transit bus route 11 towards Lancaster. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop for Rockford Road. From there, walk south on Rockford Road for about 10 minutes, and you will reach the Historic Rock Ford at 881 Rockford Rd, Lancaster, PA 17602.

Bicycle
If you are comfortable riding a bicycle, you can rent one from a local shop in Hershey. Start on Hersheypark Drive heading south. Follow the bike lanes that merge onto the Lancaster Avenue. Continue straight for about 4 miles until you reach Rockford Road. Turn left onto Rockford Road and continue for another half mile until you see Historic Rock Ford on your left.

If you prefer to walk, start at the Hershey's Chocolate World. Head southeast on Hersheypark Drive until you reach the intersection with Hersheypark Drive. Turn left and walk on the pedestrian path for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Route 39. Cross Route 39 and continue straight onto Rockford Road. Historic Rock Ford will be about 1.5 miles down Rockford Road on your right.
