Start at the Lancaster train station located at 53 E McGovern Ave, Lancaster, PA 17602. Exit the station and head southeast on E McGovern Ave towards S Prince St. Turn right onto S Prince St and continue walking until you reach the intersection with E King St. Turn left onto E King St and walk for about 0.5 miles. As you continue, E King St will become PA-72 S (South Queen St). Follow PA-72 S for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Kiwanis Dr. Turn left onto Kiwanis Dr, and the Kurtz's Mill Covered Bridge will be on your left. The walk should take around 40-50 minutes.

If you are starting from the Lancaster city center, rent a bike from a local bike rental service. Head south on S Queen St until you reach E King St. Turn left onto E King St, which will turn into PA-72 S. Continue on PA-72 S for about 1.5 miles. Then, take a left onto Kiwanis Dr, where you will find Kurtz's Mill Covered Bridge on your left. The bike ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes.

To reach Kurtz's Mill Covered Bridge using public transportation, start at the Lancaster train station. Take the Red Rose Transit route 1 (East) from the Lancaster train station. Ride this bus until you reach the stop at E King St & S Queen St. From there, transfer to the route 2 bus (South) and ride until you reach the stop at PA-72 S & Kiwanis Dr. After getting off, walk north on Kiwanis Dr for a short distance, and you will find the Kurtz's Mill Covered Bridge on your left. The total travel time is approximately 45-60 minutes, depending on the wait times for the buses.
