From downtown Lancaster, walk to the nearest bus stop on Market Street. Take the Red Rose Transit Authority's Route 2 bus towards East Petersburg. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Landis Valley Road stop. From there, you will need to walk about 0.5 miles. Head north on Landis Valley Road, and you will see the Hands-on House, Children's Museum of Lancaster on your left at 721 Landis Valley Rd.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing stations in downtown Lancaster. Start on the Lancaster River Trail heading south until you reach the intersection with Landis Valley Road. Turn left onto Landis Valley Road and continue for about 2 miles. The Hands-on House, Children's Museum will be on your right at 721 Landis Valley Rd. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules for safety.
