Walking
Start at the Lancaster Square (Penn Square). Head east on E King St toward N Duke St for about 0.3 miles. Continue straight onto E Chestnut St. After 0.2 miles, turn left onto N Prince St. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with E Walnut St. Turn right onto E Walnut St and walk for another 0.3 miles. At the intersection with S Duke St, turn left. Continue walking for about 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with Columbia Ave (Route 462). Cross Columbia Ave and take the path that leads to the Susquehanna River. Follow the riverbank south for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach 2nd Lock Rd. The entrance to Windolph Landing Nature Preserve will be on your right.

Begin your journey at Lancaster Square. Head east on E King St for about 0.3 miles. Continue straight onto E Chestnut St, then turn left onto N Prince St. After 0.5 miles, turn right onto E Walnut St. Follow E Walnut St for about 0.3 miles until you reach S Duke St, where you will turn left. Ride on S Duke St for about 0.4 miles until you reach Columbia Ave (Route 462). Cross Columbia Ave and follow the path along the Susquehanna River south for approximately 1.5 miles. Once you reach 2nd Lock Rd, the entrance to Windolph Landing Nature Preserve will be located on your right.

From Lancaster Square, walk to the nearby bus stop for the Red Rose Transit Authority. Take the bus route that goes towards Columbia (check which route is currently available). Get off at the stop nearest to Columbia Ave, then transfer to the bus that goes towards the Susquehanna River area. After the bus ride, disembark at the stop closest to 2nd Lock Rd. From there, you can walk about 0.2 miles to the entrance of Windolph Landing Nature Preserve, which will be on your right.
