To reach Steamtown National Historic Site by car, start from any location in Lower Susquehanna Valley and make your way to I-81 North. If you're near Harrisburg, take I-83 North to I-81 North. Continue on I-81 North for approximately 70 miles. Take exit 185 toward Scranton/US-11 and keep right to merge onto US-11 N. Follow signs for Scranton and merge onto N Washington Ave. Continue straight onto Cliff St. Steamtown National Historic Site will be on your left at 350 Cliff St, Scranton, PA 18503. Parking is available on-site, but there may be a fee depending on the time of year.
