If you're traveling by car from Main Line, start by getting onto I-476 N (Northeast Extension) from any point in the Main Line area. Follow I-476 N to I-84 W in Matamoras. Take exit 1 for I-84 W and continue on I-84 W for approximately 20 miles. Follow the signs for the Tri States Monument, which will be located near the Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey state lines. The monument is situated in a cemetery area, so look for the entrance to the cemetery where it is located.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, start by taking a SEPTA train from any station in the Main Line area to the nearest Amtrak station, such as Paoli or Ardmore. From there, board an Amtrak train heading towards New York City. Get off at the Port Jervis station in New York. Once you arrive at Port Jervis, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to the Tri States Monument, which is approximately 10 miles away. Be sure to check for taxi availability in advance, as public transport options may be limited in that area.
