Walking
From the heart of Old City, begin at the intersection of 2nd Street and Market Street. Head north on 2nd Street for about 5 blocks until you reach Race Street. Turn left onto Race Street and continue west for about 4 blocks until you reach 7th Street. Turn right onto 7th Street, and you will find Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site at 532 N 7th St. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.

Public Transportation - Bus
If you prefer to take public transportation, you can catch the SEPTA bus #57 from the nearest stop at 2nd and Market Streets. Board the bus heading north and ride for about 8-10 minutes. Get off at the 7th Street stop. From there, walk south one block to reach Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site. The bus fare is approximately $2.50, payable with cash or a SEPTA Key card.

You can also take the Market-Frankford Line (Blue Line) from the nearest subway station at 5th Street/Independence Hall. Board the train heading west and get off at the 8th Street station. From there, walk north on 8th Street for two blocks, then turn left onto Race Street. Continue for one block and turn right onto 7th Street. Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site will be on your left. The subway fare is approximately $2.50.
