Walking
If you're starting from the South Side neighborhood, make your way to the intersection of E Carson St and S 18th St. From there, head south on S 18th St for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Bailey Ave. Turn left onto Bailey Ave, and continue walking for approximately 0.4 miles. You will see signs for Emerald View Park as you approach the entrance. The park is located at Bailey Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15211.

Public Transport (Bus)
From South Side, walk to the nearest bus stop at S 18th St & E Carson St. Take the Port Authority Bus #47 towards the Mount Washington area. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop for Bailey Ave & W Sycamore St. After disembarking, walk east for about 0.2 miles along Bailey Ave until you reach Emerald View Park. The bus fare is $2.75 for a single ride, and you can pay with cash or a ConnectCard.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from South Side to Emerald View Park. Start by heading to S 18th St and then take a left onto Bailey Ave. Follow Bailey Ave up the hill, which is about 0.7 miles. The road may be steep, so be prepared for a good workout.
