From the heart of South Side, head northwest on E Carson St toward S 10th St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with S 10th St. Turn right onto S 10th St and continue walking until you reach the Smithfield Bridge. Cross the bridge, which will lead you directly into Downtown Pittsburgh. Once you reach the other side, follow the signs to Second Avenue. Firstside Park is located at 546 Second Avenue, just a short walk down this road.

From South Side, find the nearest bus stop on E Carson St. You can take the Port Authority bus number 51 or 75. Board the bus and ride for about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
