If you are in Reading, you can start your journey by heading to the Reading Station. From the station, exit onto Franklin Street and turn left. Walk straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach Penn Street. Turn right on Penn Street and continue walking for another 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Once you reach the intersection with North 9th Street, take a left. Continue on North 9th Street for about 0.6 miles until you reach the intersection with Lancaster Avenue. Turn right onto Lancaster Avenue, and after a short walk, you will see Historic Rock Ford on your left at 881 Rockford Rd.

From Reading, you can take the BARTA bus service. Head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Route 2 bus towards the Lancaster Avenue. Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes and get off at the stop nearest to Rockford Road. After disembarking, walk east on Lancaster Avenue for a short distance, then turn left onto Rockford Road. Historic Rock Ford will be on your right at 881 Rockford Rd.
