Getting There

• Public Bus

From there, walk approximately 10 minutes to reach Lancaster County Central Park Ball Field #1, located at 539 Golf Rd, Lancaster, PA 17602.

• Biking

  If you are feeling adventurous and want to bike to Lancaster County Central Park Ball Field #1, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Reading. Start on Penn St heading west, then follow the Schuylkill River Trail which will lead you towards Lancaster. The bike ride is about 12 miles and should take approximately 1 hour. Upon reaching Lancaster, navigate to Golf Rd using a map app on your phone and follow the road signs to reach the park.

• Walking

  If you prefer walking and are up for a longer trek, start from the heart of Reading. Head west on Penn St toward 4th St. Continue straight until you reach the Schuylkill River Trail. Follow the trail north, which will eventually lead you toward Lancaster County. This walk covers about 12 miles and may take approximately 3-4 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Once you reach Lancaster, navigate to Golf Rd using your phone to find the park directly.
