The shuttle will take you to the nearby town of Moosic. Upon arriving at Moosic, transfer to the Martz Trailways bus service towards Tobyhanna. Stay on the bus until you reach the Tobyhanna stop. From Tobyhanna, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service directly to Pocono Raceway, which is approximately 15 minutes away. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance to coordinate your trip.
Taxi/Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Simply request a ride from your current location in Scranton to Pocono Raceway at 1234 Long Pond Rd, Long Pond, PA 18334. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Be sure to confirm that your driver is taking you to the correct destination before you depart.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous tourist, renting a bicycle could be an option. Start from downtown Scranton and head south on Lackawanna Ave. Follow the signs to the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail. Continue on the trail, which will lead you through scenic routes. Once you reach the intersection with Route 115, turn right and follow this road until you reach Long Pond. Pocono Raceway will be on your left at 1234 Long Pond Rd. This journey will take approximately 2-3 hours, so plan accordingly and ensure you have water and snacks.
