If you are driving, start from the center of Harrisburg, PA. Take I-83 S towards Baltimore for about 30 miles. Merge onto I-283 S and continue for 5 miles. Then, take exit 1A to merge onto I-76 W (Pennsylvania Turnpike). Continue on I-76 W for approximately 60 miles. Take exit 57 toward US-22 W/US-119 S. Merge onto US-22 W and continue for about 12 miles. Follow signs for PA-66 S and merge onto PA-66 S. After about 10 miles, you will arrive in Pittsburgh. Navigate to Fifth Ave, Squirrel Hill North, and look for Howe Springs at the coordinates (40.451725, -79.924178). Parking may be available nearby, but be aware of any potential parking fees.

To reach Howe Springs using public transportation, start from the Harrisburg Transportation Center. Take the Amtrak train to Pittsburgh. Once you arrive at the Pittsburgh Amtrak station, transfer to the Port Authority of Allegheny County bus service. Board the 61A bus towards Squirrel Hill and ride for about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to Fifth Ave in Squirrel Hill. From there, walk a few minutes to reach Howe Springs located at Fifth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15232. Be sure to purchase your bus fare in advance, as it may incur a small fee.
