Getting There

  From downtown Pittsburgh, you can also take the T Light Rail from the Station Square or any downtown station. Ride the T towards the 'South Hills Junction' and get off at the 'Pittsburgh - North Side' station. Transfer to the #54 bus towards 'Oakland' and ride for about 15 minutes. Get off at the Forbes Avenue and South Bouquet Street stop. Walk west along Forbes Avenue for about 10 minutes until you reach the Carnegie Museum of Art located at 4400 Forbes Ave.

  If you find yourself near the University of Pittsburgh or Carnegie Mellon University, you can walk to the Carnegie Museum of Art. From the main entrance of the University of Pittsburgh, head south on S. Bouquet Street for approximately 10 minutes. Turn left onto Forbes Avenue, and you'll see the museum on your right at 4400 Forbes Ave.
