If driving from nearby cities like Media or West Chester, take I-95 North or US-1 North towards Philadelphia. Merge onto I-676 East, which will take you into Center City. Take the exit for Broad St/Central Philadelphia and follow signs for Broad St. Continue on Broad St to the intersection with Pine St, then turn left onto Pine St. The Pennsylvania Hospital Historical Marker will be located on your right. Street parking may be available, but be prepared for potential parking fees. Alternatively, consider using a parking garage nearby, which may charge between $10-$30 depending on the duration of your stay.

If you are using public transportation, you can take the SEPTA Regional Rail to Suburban Station in Center City Philadelphia. From Suburban Station, exit onto 16th St and walk east towards Market St. At Market St, take the Market-Frankford Line (blue line) eastbound for one stop to 15th St Station. Exit and transfer to the Broad Street Line (orange line) at City Hall station, taking it southbound for two stops to Lombard-South station. From the station, walk east on Lombard St, then turn right onto 8th St. Continue walking until you reach Pine St, then turn left. The Pennsylvania Hospital Historical Marker will be on your left. A one-way fare for SEPTA is $2.50.
