If you are driving from the central area of Southern Alleghenies, head northeast on I-99 N. Continue on I-99 N for approximately 45 miles until you reach I-80 E. Merge onto I-80 E and follow the signs for Wilkes-Barre. After about 30 miles, take exit 273 for PA-93 toward West Hazleton. Turn right onto PA-93 S and follow it for about 7 miles. Then, turn left onto S Lehigh Gorge Dr. Continue on S Lehigh Gorge Dr for about 3 miles until you reach the entrance of Lehigh Gorge State Park. There is no entrance fee for the park.
Public Transportation
To reach Lehigh Gorge State Park via public transportation, take a Greyhound bus or a local transit bus to Hazleton, PA. From Hazleton, you can take a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach the park, which is approximately 10 miles away.
