From the main square in Huaraz, Plaza de Armas, walk to the nearby terminal for combis (shared vans) that head towards Punta Olímpica. Look for combis that display 'Punta Olímpica' or ask locals for directions to ensure you get on the right one. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the nearest stop, disembark and ask for directions to the Túnel Punta Olímpica. It's a short walk from the combi drop-off point.

Walking

If you're feeling adventurous, you can walk from the Plaza de Armas. Start by heading north on Av. Luzuriaga, then turn right onto Av. José de la Riva Agüero. Continue straight until you reach AN-107. Follow AN-107 for about 5 kilometers. The walk will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water.

Taxi

To take a taxi, you can find one easily at Plaza de Armas. Make sure to negotiate the fare before getting in. Ask the driver to take you to Túnel Punta Olímpica. The journey should take about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure to confirm with the driver that they know the destination.
