From Huaraz, head southeast on Avenida Luzuriaga. After about 1.5 km, turn right onto Avenida Guillermo Pardo. Continue straight for about 3.5 km until you reach the junction with the PE-3N highway. Merge onto PE-3N, heading towards Carhuaz. Drive for approximately 40 km until you reach the town of Carhuaz. From Carhuaz, take the road towards the village of Waullac, which is about 12 km away. Follow the signs and local directions to reach the archaeological site at Florida 420, Huaraz 02002. Make sure to check for any local road conditions or requirements before your journey.
Public Transportation
From Huaraz, you can take a minibus or shared taxi to Carhuaz, which are available at various points in downtown Huaraz. The journey to Carhuaz takes about 1 hour and the fare is approximately 5-10 soles. Once in Carhuaz, you will need to take another local taxi or a shared taxi to reach Waullac, which is about 12 km away. The fare for this trip should be around 15-20 soles. Confirm with the driver that they are going to Waullac to ensure you are on the right route.
