Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards the city center of Aguas Calientes. Use a GPS app and enter the coordinates: -13.1542882, -72.5256101. Follow the main road into Aguas Calientes and look for signs directing you to Manco Capac Square. There is limited parking available near the square, so be prepared to park a short walk away if needed. Note that there may be parking fees ranging from 5 to 10 PEN.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  From anywhere in Apurímac, take a bus heading to Aguas Calientes. Buses depart regularly from major bus terminals. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, disembark at the main bus stop in the town center. From there, Manco Capac Square is just a 10-minute walk. Head east on Avenida Pachacutec and turn right onto Ca. Collasuyo. Follow the road until you reach the square. The bus fare is approximately 30 PEN.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from your location in Apurímac to Aguas Calientes. Make sure to negotiate a fare before starting the journey. Once you arrive in Aguas Calientes, you can ask the driver to take you directly to Manco Capac Square. The taxi fare can vary, but expect to pay around 150-250 PEN depending on your starting point.

• Walking from Main Bus Stop

  If you arrive in Aguas Calientes by bus, you can easily walk to Manco Capac Square. From the main bus stop, head east on Avenida Pachacutec. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ca. Collasuyo. Turn right at this intersection, and Manco Capac Square will be on your left after a short walk. This is a pleasant walk where you can enjoy the local atmosphere.
