If you are traveling by car, head northeast from Arequipa city center on Av. Ejercito towards Av. Independencia. Continue on this road which becomes the Pan-American Highway (Route 1) for approximately 90 kilometers until you reach the town of Chuquibamba. In Chuquibamba, follow the signs towards the center of town. Itac is located at the coordinates 6936+6C5, which is a short drive from the town center. Look for local signs or ask locals for directions if needed. The total drive should take around 2 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.

To reach Itac via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Arequipa to Chuquibamba.
