Car
To reach Tuguallqui by car from Arequipa city, start by heading southeast on Avenida Ejército towards Av. Juan de la Torre. Merge onto the Pan-American Highway (Ruta 1S) and continue for approximately 50 km. Look for signs leading to the Pampacolca district as you drive into the countryside. Once you reach the Pampacolca area, navigate towards the coordinates 7CPG+JCH, Tuguallqui. The journey should take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition as some roads may be unpaved.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Arequipa city, head to the Estación de Autobuses (bus station) and take a bus heading to Pampacolca. The bus ride will take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. Once you arrive in Pampacolca, you will need to take a taxi or a local mototaxi to reach Tuguallqui, which is about 5 km from the main town. The taxi fare should be around 10-15 soles. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
