To reach Catarata de Huasil by car, start from Chivay, the main town in Colca Canyon. Head east on the main road (Route 30A) for approximately 14 kilometers until you reach the intersection at the town of Coporaque. Turn right onto the road towards Viraco. Continue on this road for about 12 kilometers until you reach the coordinates 8CWM+H65, Viraco 04625. There is limited parking near the waterfall, and you may need to walk a short distance to get to the viewing area.

Public Transportation
If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take a bus from Chivay to the town of Coporaque. The bus ride costs around 2 to 5 soles and takes about 30 minutes. Once in Coporaque, you will need to hire a local taxi or arrange for a shared taxi to take you to Catarata de Huasil, which is approximately 12 kilometers away. The taxi fare should be negotiated but expect to pay around 15 to 20 soles for the trip. Make sure to confirm with the driver about waiting for you, as public transport is limited in this area.
