WOW!!! A great introduction to Arequipa cuisine

We've done many food tours around the world and this is without doubt one of the best ones we've done. What I loved: - Huge variety of bites. You can tell this food tour was designed to showcase the diversity of cuisine in Arequipa, instead of just the 'typical' Peruvian food we see - The visits to the street stalls and the aunties in the market: this was my favorite part!! - No food goes to waste. Any leftovers is wrapped up and either donated or saved for later - Ending the food tour at a slightly fancier place which gave us a good feel for more fine dining type cuisine. You HAVE to book this food tour if you love food!! Sooo goood

A great way to experience the gastronomy of Arequipa

Alonso took me and my husband and the couple we are travelling with on a gastronomic tour of Arequipa. He was very interesting to listen to and very informative and answered all of our many questions. We visited the market and sampled lots of different Peruvian fruit then visited three different restaurants to sample Peruvian dishes. The food was excellent and the whole experience lasted nearly 4 hours! We all felt the tour was thoroughly enjoyable and excellent value for money

Had an amazing time with Giardino Tours. Right from the moment I made an inquiry to the website, the booking lrad Lisbet was prompt with her responses, helpful and designed the ideal private tour for me. Upon arrival to Arequipa, my guide Sam was super responsive via WhatsApp as some of my plans had changed. Sam was an excellent guide who is a born and raised local, and had a wealth of knowledge and insight to share. Responsive to my requests during our tour, including a stop to drop off Laundry. 5 stars+ - couldn't recommend Giardino Tours enough!
