Walking
From the Ayacucho main square (Plaza de Armas), head west on Avenida 28 de Julio. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Avenida Venezuela. Turn left onto Avenida Venezuela and walk for another 500 meters. The Centro Arqueológico Wari will be on your right at Venezuela 706. The site is well marked and you can easily spot it.

From the Ayacucho main square (Plaza de Armas), locate the nearest bus stop where buses to 'Wari' or 'Centro Arqueológico' are available. Board the bus, and inform the driver of your destination. The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Disembark at the stop closest to Venezuela 706, then walk the remaining distance (about 200 meters) to the Centro Arqueológico Wari, which will be on your left.
