Walking
From the main square (Plaza de Armas) in Ayacucho, head south towards Calle 28 de Julio. Walk down Calle 28 de Julio for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Avenida Huamanga. Turn left onto Avenida Huamanga and continue walking for about 15 minutes. You will pass by several shops and local eateries. When you reach the traffic lights at the junction with Carr Ayacucho-Quinua, cross the street and continue straight for about 5 minutes. The Museo de Sitio Wari will be on your left, just off the main road.
Bus
From the Plaza de Armas, walk to the nearby bus terminal located on Avenida Huamanga. Look for a bus heading towards Quinua (it should display 'Quinua' on the front). The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Quinua, ask the bus driver to drop you off at the Museo de Sitio Wari. It is a short walk from the bus stop—head down Carr Ayacucho-Quinua for approximately 5 minutes, and the museum will be on your left.
