From the main square (Plaza de Armas) in Ayacucho, head northwest on Avenida 28 de Julio toward Calle San Martin. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Avenida Carretera. Turn left onto Avenida Carretera and walk for approximately 15 minutes. You will come to a bus terminal (Terminal Terrestre de Ayacucho) where you will find local buses heading towards the outskirts of the city.
Bus
At Terminal Terrestre de Ayacucho, look for buses heading towards Huamanga or the nearby towns. You want to ask for a bus that stops near Uchkuera. Make sure to confirm with the driver that the bus will take you close to your destination, as not all buses may go directly to Uchkuera. The journey should take about 30 to 40 minutes. Keep an eye out for signs or landmarks indicating Uchkuera as you travel.
Walking
Once you disembark from the bus, ask locals for directions to Uchkuera. It is approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. Head in the direction of VQM3+597, Ayacucho 05000. The area is a bit rural, so be prepared for a pleasant walk through the countryside. Look for any signs that might indicate you are nearing Uchkuera.
