If you are starting from the Ayacucho city center, head southeast on Avenida 28 de Julio towards Calle San Juan. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Independencia. Turn left onto Avenida Independencia and walk for about 10 minutes. You will see the Plaza de Armas of Ayacucho on your right, marked by its beautiful colonial architecture and central fountain.

From the Ayacucho Cathedral, walk northwest on Plaza de Armas towards the main square. The Plaza de Armas is just a few steps away, and you will be able to enjoy the various shops and cafes lining the square as you approach.

If you are near the Museo de la Memoria, exit the museum and head southwest on Avenida 28 de Julio. After a few minutes, turn left onto Avenida Independencia. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the Plaza de Armas of Ayacucho.

If you are further out in Ayacucho, you can take a local bus or colectivo heading towards the city center. Get off at the Plaza de Armas stop. From there, the plaza is just a short walk away, and you can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the area.
