From the center of Cajamarca, head southeast on Avenida de la Cultura towards Avenida 2 de Mayo. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. Turn left onto Avenida Los Incas and follow this road for approximately 2 kilometers. After passing the Universidad Nacional de Cajamarca, turn right onto a smaller road (RGVJ+HJ3) that leads towards Chapakñan. Continue on this road for about 3 kilometers until you reach the destination. Ensure to follow local traffic regulations and be cautious of pedestrians.

Public Transportation

To reach Chapakñan using public transportation, start from the Plaza de Armas in Cajamarca. Look for a minibus or colectivo heading towards 'Los Incas'. You can catch these from designated stops around the plaza. The fare is typically around 1.50 PEN. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Universidad Nacional de Cajamarca. From there, walk approximately 15 minutes southeast on Avenida Los Incas until you reach the intersection with the smaller road (RGVJ+HJ3) leading to Chapakñan. Continue straight for another 3 kilometers to arrive at your destination.

Taxi

For a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Cajamarca. Negotiate a fare beforehand, which should be around 15-25 PEN depending on your starting point. Ask the driver to take you to Chapakñan, specifying the location RGVJ+HJ3. This will provide a comfortable and convenient journey directly to the site.
