Car
From the center of Cajamarca, head south on Avenida Atahualpa. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Avenida Los Incas. Turn left onto Avenida Los Incas and follow the road for about 4 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Cumbemayo. After approximately 20 minutes of driving, you will see the entrance to Cumbemayo on your right. There is a small parking area available.
Public Transportation
To reach Cumbemayo via public transportation, start at the main square (Plaza de Armas) in Cajamarca. Look for combis or shared taxis that have signs for 'Cumbemayo' or 'Los Baños del Inca.' The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and you will need to tell the driver your destination. You may need to pay around 5-10 soles for the fare. Once you arrive at the drop-off point, you will need to walk about 1 km to the entrance of Cumbemayo.
Hiking
If you're feeling adventurous, you can also hike to Cumbemayo from the main road. After being dropped off by a combi or taxi, follow the dirt path leading up to Cumbemayo. This hike will take approximately 30-45 minutes, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water.
