Juan was fabulous, so much information. We were fortunate that it was just my husband and me, so the tour felt more exclusive. The clifftops are amazing as Juan gave us so much history around the area. I would recommend this tour if you want to have knowledge around Lima and hopefully you get Juan.

Excellent Way to Explore Miraflores While Getting Some Exercise

I was looking for a way to stay active during my time in Lima and came across this excursion. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Victor was an excellent guide. He adapted the experience to my fitness level. I'm fairly new to jogging and am more accustomed to running on flat terrain, so we alternated between jogging and walking. He also gave me the option of walking the entire route. You definitely do not need to be a runner to enjoy this tour. I learned a lot about the areas we visited and had the opportunity to explore some of Miraflores's beautiful parks. We started at 6:00 a.m. because I prefer early mornings, and there were plenty of other people out running and exercising, including groups doing CrossFit and boxing. I felt very safe throughout the entire route. The tour lasted about an hour and a half, but Victor tailors the experience to your preferences and abilities. The route is not fixed, and the terrain can include both flat sections and hills, depending on what you want and are comfortable with. There were also plenty of opportunities to stop and take photos along the way. Victor began the tour with a series of stretches and finished with a more extensive cool-down routine, which reminded me that I should probably stretch more often myself. I was not part of a group, so it was a private tour with just the two of us. He met me directly at my accommodation, which was very convenient. The tour is offered in both English and Spanish. Although I initially chose English, I decided to do the tour in Spanish since I speak some Spanish as well, and I had no trouble understanding him. You should bring your own water. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to get some exercise while learning more about Lima. Even complete beginners and older travelers should be able to enjoy it, as Victor does an excellent job of tailoring the experience to each person's abilities.
