From the main square of Chiclayo (Plaza de Armas), walk to the nearby bus terminal located on Av. José Balta. Look for the buses heading towards Túcume, which is approximately a 30-40 minute ride. Once you arrive in Túcume, disembark at the main stop and ask locals for directions to Museo de Sitio de Tucume, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

From the Plaza de Armas, you can also take a mototaxi directly to Museo de Sitio de Tucume. Simply approach a mototaxi driver, negotiate the fare (it should be around 15-20 soles), and specify your destination. The ride will take about 25-30 minutes depending on traffic.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to experience the local scenery, you can walk from the Plaza de Armas to Museo de Sitio de Tucume. Head east on Av. José Balta, then turn left onto Av. José de la Torre Ugarte. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Av. Túcume. Turn right and follow this road until you see signs for the museum. This walk will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes.
