Bus
From the main bus terminal in Chiclayo, take a bus heading to Sipán. The ride typically takes about 30-40 minutes. Once on the bus, make sure to keep an eye on the landmarks, as you will want to disembark when you see signs indicating you are near Sipán. The buses are frequent, so you shouldn't have to wait long for one to depart.
Mototaxi
If you are near the central plaza in Chiclayo, you can easily catch a mototaxi (a small motorcycle taxi). Simply flag one down and tell the driver you want to go to Sipán. The journey will take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. It’s a fun and quick way to travel, and the drivers are usually very familiar with the area.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and are staying relatively close (about 6-7 kilometers away), you can walk to Sipán. Start from the main square in Chiclayo, head south towards Avenida José Balta, and follow it until you reach the outskirts of the city. Look for signs for Sipán, as you will eventually come across a pathway leading directly into the area. This option will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, so be prepared with water and sun protection.
