From the main bus terminal in Chiclayo (Terminal Terrestre de Chiclayo), look for buses heading to 'Tucume'. These buses are usually marked with their destination. Ensure you board a bus that is going directly to Tucume. The journey takes approximately 40-50 minutes. Once you arrive at the main square of Tucume, you can ask locals for directions to the Tucume Pyramids, which are about a 20-minute walk from the square.

Once you arrive in Tucume, you can easily find a mototaxi (a small motorcycle taxi) at the main square. Tell the driver you want to go to the 'Tucume Pyramids'. This is a quick and economical way to reach the pyramids, and the ride will take about 10 minutes. Make sure to agree on the fare before you start the ride.

If you prefer to walk from the main square in Tucume to the pyramids, head east on Avenida 28 de Julio, then turn left onto the main road heading towards the site.
