If you are driving, start from the Choquequirao Trek trailhead (the closest point from where you can reach) and head towards the town of Cachora. The drive will take approximately 2-3 hours. Once in Cachora, you can park your car at designated parking areas and continue your journey to the Inca Trail either by hiring a local guide with a vehicle or taking a shared taxi to the starting point of the Inca Trail, located in Ollantaytambo. This drive will take approximately 3 hours.

From the Choquequirao Trek area, make your way back to Cachora. You can take a local bus or shared taxi from the trek endpoint to Cachora, which should take about 1-2 hours. Once in Cachora, look for a shared taxi or bus heading to Ollantaytambo. The journey from Cachora to Ollantaytambo takes around 3 hours. Upon arrival, you will be in Ollantaytambo, where you can find accommodations and tour operators that can arrange your Inca Trail trek.
