Car
From Choquequirao Trek, head back to the nearest town, which is San Pedro de Cachora. Once there, take the road towards the town of Abancay. Continue driving for about 1 hour and 30 minutes until you reach the junction for Tipón. Follow the signs to Archaeological Park Tipón, which is about 30 minutes from the junction. Ensure your vehicle has a good ground clearance as some sections might be unpaved. The entrance to the park is located at C6H8+VMJ, Acceso a Tipon, Choquepata 08205.

Public Transportation
To reach Archaeological Park Tipón via public transportation, start by making your way to San Pedro de Cachora. From there, catch a bus or shared taxi to Abancay. Upon arriving in Abancay, look for a bus that goes to Choquepata. After a 30-minute ride, you will arrive at the entrance to Tipón. You may need to walk about 10 minutes from the main road to reach the entrance of the archaeological park. The total travel time will be approximately 2 to 3 hours, depending on connections.

If you prefer a more direct route, hire a taxi from either San Pedro de Cachora or Abancay to take you straight to the entrance of Archaeological Park Tipón. This option is more expensive, costing around 80 to 100 soles, but it will save you time and hassle. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The taxi ride will take approximately 1 hour from Abancay.
