Car
If you're driving from Chivay, take the road towards the Colca Canyon. Follow the signs for 'Valle del Colca' which will lead you along the scenic route. After approximately 20 minutes, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork towards 'C.p Colca' and continue driving for another 10 minutes. You will see a sign for 'Colca Valle del Canipaco' on your right. Turn onto this road and follow it for about 5 minutes until you arrive at your destination at F1, Colca 12436. Parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Colca Valle del Canipaco via public transport, catch a minibus from Chivay to the Colca Canyon. These minibuses regularly depart from the main square in Chivay. Once you board, inform the driver that you want to get off at 'C.p Colca.' The fare is typically around 5-10 soles. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at 'C.p Colca.' From there, you can either walk (about 15 minutes) towards the direction of Colca Valle del Canipaco, or you may get a local taxi for approximately 10 soles to take you directly to F1, Colca 12436.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Chivay to Colca Valle del Canipaco. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost around 50-70 soles for a one-way trip. The taxi will take you directly to F1, Colca 12436, and the journey typically takes about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.
