Car
From Chivay, head south on the main road (CR-30A) towards Cabanaconde. Continue driving for about 25 kilometers. As you approach Cabanaconde, look for signs directing you towards Sangalle. At the fork in the road, take the right towards Malata. Follow this road for another 10 kilometers until you reach the small village of Malata. Once in Malata, look for the signs leading to Sangalle, which is approximately 2 kilometers further down the road. Park your car in the designated area and prepare for a short hike down to the Sangalle oasis.

From Chivay, take a minibus or shared taxi heading to Cabanaconde. The journey will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Cabanaconde, ask the local drivers about a taxi or shared vehicle to Malata. The ride to Malata should take about 30 minutes. After reaching Malata, you may need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach Sangalle. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the Sangalle oasis.
