If you are driving from any part of Colca Canyon, head towards Chivay, which is the nearest town to the Planetarium and Observatory Colca. The observatory is located at Ramon Castilla 422. From the main road in Chivay, turn onto Ramon Castilla street and drive approximately 1.5 kilometers. Look for the observatory on your right-hand side. Parking is available nearby.

If you are using public transportation, take a local bus or shared taxi (colectivo) from anywhere in Colca Canyon to Chivay. The fare is usually around 5-10 soles. Once you arrive in Chivay, ask to be dropped off at Ramon Castilla street. The Planetarium and Observatory Colca is located at Ramon Castilla 422, a short walk from the bus drop-off point. It is advisable to check the local bus schedules for the return trip, as they may have limited operating hours.
