Car
From Cusco city center, head southwest on Av. El Sol toward Av. Pardo. Continue onto Av. de la Cultura, and follow the signs for the Cusco to Puno road (Route 3S). After approximately 8 km, take the exit toward Route 28B. Continue on this road for about 12 km until you reach the small town of Sayhuite. From Sayhuite, follow the signs for Muyuq Marka. It's advisable to use a navigation app to ensure you stay on track, as the roads can be winding and not well marked. Parking may be available near the site.
Public Transportation
Take a colectivo (shared taxi) from the main square (Plaza de Armas) in Cusco to the town of Sayhuite. Colectivos leave frequently and cost around 10-15 PEN (Peruvian Soles). The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once in Sayhuite, ask locals for directions to Muyuq Marka, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the town center. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be uneven.
