From the Plaza de Armas in Cusco, head northwest towards the Calle Santa Catalina. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida del Sol. Turn left onto Avenida del Sol and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the bus terminal at Calle 28 de Julio. From there, look for a bus heading to Lares. The buses are usually marked with their destinations. Once you board the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which will take approximately 2 hours. The bus will drop you off at the entrance to Lares Trek. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you arrive at Lares Trek.
