From the Plaza de Armas in Cusco, head northwest towards the Calle Santa Catalina. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida del Sol. Turn left onto Avenida del Sol and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the bus terminal at Calle 28 de Julio. From there, look for a bus heading to Lares.
