Walking
From the main square, Plaza de Armas, head east on Calle Nueva Alta until you reach Av. El Sol. Turn right onto Av. El Sol and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and restaurants. When you reach the intersection with Av. De La Cultura, turn left. Continue on Av. De La Cultura for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs for Watoqto. After about 1 kilometer, you will turn right onto a small road that leads towards the archaeological site.
Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from any point in Cusco. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Watoqto' located at HFP5+JJ7, Rio Pichihua. The taxi ride should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey if you're not using a ride-hailing app.
Public Transportation
You can catch a local bus (minibus) that goes towards Rio Pichihua. From Plaza de Armas, walk to the nearest bus stop on Av. El Sol. Look for buses marked 'Rio Pichihua' or ask locals for assistance. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the closest stop to HFP5+JJ7 and walk the remaining distance to Watoqto. Be sure to confirm with the driver that they will stop near Watoqto.
