Getting there

Public Bus

From the main square, Plaza de Armas, walk to the bus station located near Avenida de la Cultura. Look for buses heading towards 'Oropesa' or 'Ccorca.' Make sure to confirm with the driver that they pass by Zoologico UNSAAC. The ride should take about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to the zoo entrance, which is marked by local signs.

Collectivo

From Plaza de Armas, walk to the nearby collectivo station on Avenida de la Cultura. Take a collectivo heading to Oropesa. These shared taxis are a fast and economical option. The ride will take approximately 25 minutes. Inform the driver you are going to Zoologico UNSAAC, and they will drop you off at the nearest point to the zoo.

Walking

If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from Plaza de Armas and head south towards Avenida de la Cultura. Walk along Avenida de la Cultura for about 3 kilometers until you reach a fork; take the left fork towards Ccorca. Continue straight until you see signs for Zoologico UNSAAC. This walk will take approximately 1 hour.

Taxi

For a more direct and comfortable option, you can hire a taxi from Plaza de Armas. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Zoologico UNSAAC. The journey will take around 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your trip.
