Walking
From Plaza de Armas in Cusco, head south towards Avenida El Sol. Walk along Avenida El Sol for about 20 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle Santa Clara. Turn right onto Calle Santa Clara and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Túpac Amaru. Cross the avenue and proceed straight onto Calle Huayna Capac. Follow this road as it curves into a dirt path. Keep walking for about 30 minutes, and you will see signs pointing towards Qochas Chincanas on your right. It’s located at F2V9+JF5, Cusco 08002.
Public Transport – Minibus
From Plaza de Armas, walk to the nearby San Pedro Market. Look for minibuses departing towards the 'Qenqo' or 'Sacsayhuamán' routes. Board the minibus and inform the driver you want to get off at the stop for Qochas Chincanas. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you get off, follow the signs leading to Qochas Chincanas, which should be about a 10-minute walk from where you alight.
Taxi (Shared)
At Plaza de Armas, find a taxi stand. Share a taxi with other passengers heading towards 'Qenqo' or 'Sacsayhuamán'. The fare will be cheaper when shared. The journey takes around 15 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at Qochas Chincanas, which is accessible from the main road. From the drop-off point, it may take about 10 minutes to walk to the exact location.
