Walking
From the central area of San Pedro, head towards Avenida de la Cultura. Walk straight along this avenue until you reach the intersection with Calle San Agustín. Turn left onto Calle San Agustín and continue walking. You will see the Plaza Mayor de Cusco straight ahead as you reach the end of the street.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you prefer to take a bus, look for the local transport options at the San Pedro market area. Board a bus heading towards the Plaza de Armas, which is the same as Plaza Mayor de Cusco. The fare is approximately 1 or 2 soles, and the buses run frequently. Get off at the Plaza de Armas stop, which is centrally located, and you will see the Plaza Mayor directly in front of you.
Taxi (Shared or Private)
If you wish to take a taxi, you can easily find one near the San Pedro market. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, as taxis in Cusco do not have meters. The cost to Plaza Mayor de Cusco from San Pedro is usually around 5 to 10 soles, depending on the distance and time of day. After a short drive, you will be dropped off right at the entrance of Plaza Mayor.
