Walking
If you are starting from the Huancayo Plaza de la Constitución (main square), head west on Av. Huancavelica. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Av. Giráldez. Turn left onto Av. Giráldez and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see the Obelisco Giráldez, a prominent historical landmark, located at Ovalo Giráldez.
Public Transport - Minibus
From the Plaza de la Constitución, look for minibuses heading towards El Tambo. Board any minibus with a sign indicating 'El Tambo' or similar. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Ovalo Giráldez. The journey will take around 10-15 minutes. Once you alight, the Obelisco Giráldez is a short walk away.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Huancayo Plaza de la Constitución. Cycle west on Av. Huancavelica, then turn left onto Av. Giráldez. The distance is about 1.5 kilometers and should take around 10 minutes. The Obelisco Giráldez will be at Ovalo Giráldez.
