Walking
Start at the Plaza de Armas in Huaraz. From the Plaza, head south on Avenida Luzuriaga for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Avenida 28 de Julio. Turn left onto Avenida 28 de Julio and continue straight for approximately 15 minutes. You will pass various shops and cafés along the way. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards 'Cercado de Huaraz'. After about 15 minutes, you'll reach the area known as 02001. LA CHOSITA is located within this district. Look for the distinct signage or ask local residents for directions, as it can be a bit tucked away.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the Plaza de Armas, walk to the nearest bus stop on Avenida Luzuriaga. Look for a bus that is heading towards 'Cercado de Huaraz' or '02001'. Buses are frequent, and the fare is inexpensive. Once on the bus, keep an eye out for the stop near the intersection of Avenida 28 de Julio. The journey should take about 10-15 minutes. After disembarking, walk straight for about 5 minutes towards the area marked 02001, and you will find LA CHOSITA in the vicinity.
Taxi
If you prefer a quicker and more direct route, you can take a taxi from any point in Huaraz. Just tell the driver you want to go to 'LA CHOSITA in 02001, Cercado de Huaraz'. The ride will take approximately 10 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your journey, or ensure the meter is used.
