Walking
From the main square (Plaza de Armas) in Huaraz, head east on Avenida Luzuriaga for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Avenida 28 de Julio. Turn left onto Avenida 28 de Julio and continue for about 500 meters until you see a bus stop. Here, you can catch a shared taxi (colectivo) heading to Independencia. Inform the driver you want to go to Templo de Wilcahuain. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Independencia, get off at the nearest stop to Wilcahuain 60. From there, walk approximately 300 meters northwest towards the entrance of the Templo de Wilcahuain.

Start at the Plaza de Armas in Huaraz. Walk to the nearby bus terminal (Terminal Terrestre) situated about 1 kilometer away. Once at the bus terminal, look for buses that head towards Independencia. The fare is usually very affordable. After a 20-minute ride, disembark at the Independencia stop. From there, you may need to ask locals for directions to Wilcahuain 60, as it is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the road signs or ask for 'Templo de Wilcahuain.'

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Huaraz. Start from the Plaza de Armas and head east on Avenida Luzuriaga. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers, then turn left onto Avenida 28 de Julio. Cycle for an additional 500 meters until you reach the area where you can find a shared taxi (colectivo) heading towards Independencia. Board the colectivo and inform the driver of your destination. After reaching Independencia, it’s a short 300-meter ride to Templo de Wilcahuain.
