Walking
From the main square (Plaza de Armas) in Huaraz, head east on Avenida Luzuriaga for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Avenida 28 de Julio. Turn left onto Avenida 28 de Julio and continue for about 500 meters until you see a bus stop. Here, you can catch a shared taxi (colectivo) heading to Independencia. Inform the driver you want to go to Templo de Wilcahuain. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Independencia, get off at the nearest stop to Wilcahuain 60. From there, walk approximately 300 meters northwest towards the entrance of the Templo de Wilcahuain.

Start at the Plaza de Armas in Huaraz. Walk to the nearby bus terminal (Terminal Terrestre) situated about 1 kilometer away. Once at the bus terminal, look for buses that head towards Independencia. The fare is usually very affordable. After a 20-minute ride, disembark at the Independencia stop. From there, you may need to ask locals for directions to Wilcahuain 60, as it is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the road signs or ask for 'Templo de Wilcahuain.'
